The screens measure 150 cms wide x 175 cms high (approx).

The textile paint I have used has the same fluidness as ink but
can be controlled with the use of Pva glue which acts as a
block to the paint.

In the case of the flower screen florescent paint was used and
painting was done partly during normal daylight and partly
using a 'black light'.

Varying thicknesses of cotton (bleached) have been used in
these examples and this has an effect on the way the paint is

absorbed and how it 'moves' along material.

The wooden frames are varnished and the panels are finished
off using thin strips of beading.
